SIM908 module is a complete Quad-Band GSM/GPRS module which combines GPS technology for satellite navigation. The compact design which integrated GPRS and GPS in a SMT package will significantly save both time and costs for customers to develop GPS enabled applications.The idea is simple: read the GPS coordinates (longitude and latitude) and send them using a HTTP request to a web server.
Considering the high performance, low power, and small size, SIM908 is an ideal module for many M2M applications where positioning is required at affordable price.
