The EPC-A8-50-C (PN CS80480T050E) is a high-quality industrial embedded computer, that features a 5-inch LCD with capacitive touchscreen, an ARM Cortex-A8 processor with 512MB DDR3 RAM and 4GB eMMC Flash, 100Mb Ethernet, 2 USB 2.0 ports, 1 CAN port, 2 RS232, 2 RS485 ports, as well as a 3.5mm audio connector.

The EPC-A8-50-C has several expansion connectors on the back side – 2 USB 2.0 connectors, 1 LAN connector, 1 CAN connector, 2 RS485 connectors, and 2 RS232 connectors. It also features a 3.5mm audio connector.

The CAN, RS485, RS232 connector is a 12 Pin 3.81mm screw terminal connector (as you can see from the image).

Since this display has 4 UART channels, they can be configured as RS232 or RS485. Please contact us if you require a different configuration.

The speed of the RS232 and the RS485 port is up to 115200 Baud.

The EPC-A8-50-C has one channel 100Mb Ethernet port and one TF (uSD) card connector. This device supports a TF card up to 32GB.

When it comes to audio capabilities, the EPC-A8-50-C has one 3.5mm Output/input connector and a 2W internal speaker.

This product features the CS-SOM335X-V3 System-on-Module, based on the AM3354 ARM Cortex-A8 processor.

The AM3354 microprocessor is enhanced with image, graphics processing, peripherals and industrial interface options such as EtherCAT and PROFIBUS. The devices support high-level operating systems (HLOS).

The microprocessor unit (MPU) subsystem is based on the ARM Cortex-A8 processor and the PowerVR SGX™ Graphics Accelerator subsystem provides 3D graphics acceleration to support display and gaming effects.

Display and Touchscreen:

EPC-A8-50-C features a 5’’ display with an 800*480 pixel resolution, and a 5-point capacitive touch screen. 5-point capacitive touchscreens offer a stable and accurate control over the device, as well as great image clarity.

When it comes to the viewing angle, the screen offers various angles: top, bottom, left, and right view.
